Specialist Painting Group (SPG) played a pivotal role in supporting Trelleborg Marine Systems with the application of Chemco International’s advanced protective coating system at DP World’s London Gateway Port. As part of this critical maintenance project, SPG utilized rope access techniques to apply coatings to the berthing fenders, ensuring optimal protection against the harsh marine environment. With a team of skilled IRATA level 1 certified professionals and ICATS-approved applicators, SPG delivered high-quality services throughout the project, enhancing the durability and performance of the port’s infrastructure. This ongoing maintenance project, which began in 2018, is scheduled for completion in 2019.
